Changes to Evening Tram Services
Works take place in the evening on Monday 24 August.
Blue and Purple route services will be suspended between Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend/Herdings Park, and Yellow route services will be suspended between Shalesmoor and Woodbourn Road from approximately 21:00 until the end of service on Monday 24 August. Replacement bus services will operate between Shalesmoor and Herdings Park, and Woodbourn Road during this period, providing connections with tram services at Shalesmoor, Woodbourn Road and Gleadless Townend. These temporary changes are required to enable the early completion of the current engineering works near Fitzalan Square.

Blue route
Blue route tram services will will be suspended between Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend from around 21:00 until end of service on Monday 24 August.
Replacement buses will be in operation between Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend throughout, connecting with trams at Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend.
Supertram tickets will be valid on replacement buses between Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend.

Purple route
Purple route tram services will will be suspended from around 21:00 until end of service on Monday 24 August.
Replacement buses will be in operation between Shalesmoor and Herdings Park throughout, connecting with trams at Shalesmoor and Gleadless Townend.
Supertram tickets will be valid on replacement buses between Shalesmoor and Herdings Park

Yellow route
Yellow route tram services will will be suspended between Shalesmoor and Woodbourn Road from around 21:00 until end of service on Monday 24 August.

BP1 & YE1/TT1
Replacement bus services BP1 and YE1/TT1 will provide a frequent and reliable connection to tram services, operating between Shalesmoor towards Herdings Park and Woodbourn Road
- Limited stop service: Buses only stop at specific bus stops which are located near to affected tram stops.
- Travel with your tram ticket: Show any valid tram ticket purchased in advance using the TSY Mobile App or from a tram conductor. Tickets can also be purchased from the bus driver.
Speed up your journey by having your ticket ready to show the driver. You can also purchase a ticket using contactless card or cash when you board, just ask for a ticket like you would do from a tram conductor.
Bus only tickets are not accepted on the replacement bus services.
The renewal works taking place near Fitzalan Square on Monday 24 August inclusive will prevent trams from being able to serve the following stops:

- Castle Square
- Fitzalan Square
- Hyde Park
- Cricket Inn Road

- Sheffield Station

Changes to local transport
These renewal works will affect some roads and footpaths, but disruption is expected to be minimal for most people.

No road closures are expected be affected by these works.
Further information will be provided to residents by VolkerRail on behalf of South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. Diversions and road closures will be in place, please follow the signed diversion route. An interactive map of roadworks is available on the Sheffield City Council website.
Park and Ride
All Travel South Yorkshire Park and Ride sites will remain open during these works, offering free parking as usual.

- Nunnery Square to Woodbourn Road: 11 minutes (966 meters)
- Sheffield Station to Granville Road: 5 minutes (450 metres)

- Park Croft to Park Grange: 9 minutes (482 meters)
- Park Grange to Arbourthorne Road: 14 minutes (812 meters)
