The following Purple Route services are cancelled due to operational difficulties.

Cathedral - Herdings Park:

Ticket acceptance is in place with First South Yorkshire services 18, 18A, 47, 48.

Services 2, 2A, 20, 24, 32, 43, 44, 47, 51, 75, 76E, 82, 88, 97, 98, X1, X6, X17 are to divert via Flat Street, Paternoster Row, Furnival Street.

Services 43, 44 will commence and terminate at stand C2 in Sheffield Interchange.

Services travelling from Eyre Street towards Castle Square are unaffected and will operate normal route.

Service 384 and 384a Services are looping around in Barnby Dunn then divert via Thorne Road and Broadway at Dunscroft to resume service in both directions

Services to divert in both directions.

Services 387 and 387a to run normal to the end of Broadway then divert via Station Road, Epworth Road, Thorne Road in both directions

Services 9 and 9a towards Sheffield to divert via Wilfrid Road and Staniforth Road.

Service 9 towards Darnall Littledale and Service 9a towards Manor Top is unaffected.

Services 207 and X3 towards Sheffield to divert via Newhall Road, Brightside Lane, Corby Street and Fred Mulley Road.

Service 207 towards Rotherham and Service X3 towards Doncaster is unaffected.

Services 216, 218 and 221 to divert via Greens Way, West Street, Main Street to pick up normal route on Hartley Street

Service 376 is to divert via Market Road, Church Way, Wentworth Road.

Services 22x, 108, 109, 208, 218 and 221 is to divert from Rotherham Interchange via Bridge Street, College Road Roundabout and Barbot Hall Industrial Estate to resume normal route

Services 22x, 108, 109, 208, 218 and 221 towards Rotherham Interchange will divert via Drummond Street to access the interchange. 

Service X3 towards Doncaster is to divert via Drummond Street, Wharncliffe Street, Doncaster Road, St Annes Road then normal route

Services 73, 95, 95s & X3 from Rotherham Interchange will divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way, Main Street & Westgate.     

Services 136, 137, 138 from Rotherham Interchange towards Kimberworth to divert via Bridge Street College Road, Centenary Way to the U-Turn to resume route on Masbrough Street.

Service X3 is to divert via Sheffield Road, Poplar Grove, Chestnut Avenue in both directions.

Service 12 is to divert via Laithes Lane

Services 219, 219A are to divert directly along Doncaster Road (the main road) between Barnburgh and Ludwell Hill.

This is in both directions.

Hillsborough Stadium - Sheffield Wednesday Home Games

When Leppings Lane (only) closes:
Services 18, 31, 97 & 98 TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Road, then turn right along Bradfield Rd to Hillsborough Corner.
Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will turn left onto Langsett Rd, left down Bamforth St, then left along Penistone Rd.

Additionally due to parked cars on Donovan Road, Service 98 will operate via the 97 route for the duration of a game

Bramall Lane Stadium -Sheffield United & Sheffield United Women Home Games

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road Roundabout.
Services 11, 18 & MAN4 will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Mary's Road in both directions.
Service 252 will divert via Queens Road, Granville Square and St. Mary's Road in both directions.

TO GET THERE:
Shoreham Street: Services 1, 11, 24, 25 & 51.
Queens Road: Services 70/70a.

Note: If Shoreham Street is closed, then 1, 11, 18, 24, 41, 51, 252 & MAN4 services will all divert via Queens Road, Granville Square & St Mary's Road in both directions.

Every Barnsley FC Home Game

Schwabisch Gmund Way gets closed for Barnsley FC home games.

Service 2 will divert via Harborough Hill and Eldon Street North in both directions during the times stated above on match days.

Services 27b, 28 and 32, although not diverted, these will be subject to delay along Pontefract Road near Oakwell Stadium.

Several roads in the vicinity of the Football Ground are also subject to Traffic Restriction Orders before and after each game.

New York Stadium -Rotherham United Home Games

When Main Street closes:

Services 73, 95 & X3 from Rotherham will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout (73 & 95 services then Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road). To Rotherham unaffected.

Services 137 and 138 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Road Roundabout, then Bridge Street.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Road & Centenary Way, then U turn back to Masbrough Street.

TO GET THERE:
Approx 5-10 min walk from Rotherham Interchange via Corporation Street and Main Street
Approx 5-10 walk from Rotherham Central, side of Canal, past Poolice station then onto Main Street

Hillsborough Stadium

Service 86 - This diversion will be in place 1 hour before kick off until 30 minutes after full time. It will be on normal route either side of this.

Towards Low Edges
The service will follow the route as normal to the bottom of Fox Hill Crescent. After that it will turn left up Fox Hill Road and then right onto Wilcox Road. It will carry on to the lights where it will turn right onto Halifax Road, back on normal route.

Towards Chapeltown
Instead of turning left onto Fox Hill Road, the service will follow Halifax Road to the traffic lights (junction with Wilcox Road). At that point it will turn left onto Wilcox Road. At the end of Wilcox Road the service will turn right onto Fox Hill Road and follow the normal 86 route to Low Edges until it reaches the bottom of Fox Hill Crescent. 
It will then turn left onto Fox Hill Road, then finally right onto Wilcox Road - back on normal line of route.

Service 226 is to divert via Prospect Road and Highgate Lane in both directions.

Service 208: Awaiting confirmation from operator.

Service X5 is diverted from Brampton Road via Morthen Road, Tanyard Roundabout, Bawtry Road, resuming normal route at The King Henry pub in both directions

Services 353, 354 are to divert from Harold Avenue via directly along Lawn Avenue to The Oval.

Services 353, 354 are unable to serve Osbourne Avenue or Shaftesbury Avenue.

Service X5 to continue along Blyth Road then turn left onto Muglet Lane, picking up normal route towards the Queens Crossroads.

No bus stops affected.

Services 95, 95S are to omit Parkway Markets and divert via Sheffield Parkway in both directions.

Services 6,51,52,52a,95,120,120k and 271 will operate via its new route of West Street, Rockingham Street and Charter Row.

The SC1 service will still serve Carver Street.

Services 51 to divert via High Street and Selby Road

Service 217 and 218 to divert via Manvers Way, Bolton Road, Hounds Hill Lane, Mexborough Road. High Street in both directions

Service 226 to divert via Manvers Way, Bolton Road, Hounds Hill Lane, Mexborough Road and normal route from Angel Street in both directions

Service 664 to divert via Manvers Way, Bolton Road, Hounds Hill Lane, Mexborough Road. High Street in both directions

Service 665 will divert via Manvers Way, Cathill Roundabout, Barnsley Road, Dudley Drive, Commercial Road, Highgate Lane, Thurnscoe Road, Carr Head Lane and Canberra Rise – The first drop off point will be Houghton Road in Thurnscoe.

Service 668 to divert via Canberra Rise, Carr Head Lane, Thurnscoe Road, Highgate Lane, Commercial Road, Dudley Drive, Barnsley Road, Cathill Roundabout and Manvers Way - The last pick up would be Wath Road/Coniston Road. (School has been advised the service will be late whilst serving the diverted route)

Services 208, 216, 217, 218, 221 to divert via Queen Street and Wath Road in both directions.

Service 114 and 114a to divert via Badsley Moor Lane in both directions.
