Disruptions

Service 219/219A will divert via Scawsby and not serve High Melton or Sprotbrough during the above dates.

Due to these roadworks, City of Doncaster Council are providing a FREE shuttle bus service, operated by Yorkshire Buses. The service will operate on Monday to Saturday daytimes only. This will operate between Doncaster Interchange, Sprotbrough and High Melton.

Tram Train services will divert to Meadowhall Interchange. The last service to Parkgate will depart Cathedral at 17:00, and the last service to Cathedral will depart Parkgate at 17:31. 

Supertram replacement bus service TT1 is timetabled to connect to tram services at Meadowhall South and will serve Rotherham Central and Parkgate.

Service 81 towards City are to omit the Acorn estate and continue straight on Stannington Road.

Service M44 will divert through Frecheville along Linley Lane, Alport Road, Youlgreave Drive, Linley Lane, Birley Moor Road and Silkstone Road.

Service M45 will divert through Frecheville along Silkstone Road, Birley Moor Road, Linley Lane, Youlgreave Drive, Alport Road and Linley Lane.

Service X3 to Rotherham/Doncaster to carry straight on along Meadowhall Way to the roundabout, 1st exit onto Vulcan Way, roundabout 1st exit onto Sheffield Road, at the viaduct roundabout 2nd exit straight over to meet with normal route.

Towards Sheffield unaffected.

Services 385 will divert directly along Doncaster Road in both directions.

Service 137 will be using the full length of Skelwith Road in both directions

Services 24, 25 & 95 towards Woodhouse/Rotherham diverted via Park Square roundabout, Duke Street, Bernard Street & Cricket Inn Road.

City bound journeys normal route

Services 73, 95, 95s & X3 from Rotherham Interchange will divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way, Main Street & Westgate.     

Services 136, 137, 138 from Rotherham Interchange towards Kimberworth to divert via Bridge Street College Road, Centenary Way to the u turn to resume route on Masbrough Street.

Services 387 to divert directly along Princess Avenue in both directions

Hillsborough Stadium - Sheffield Wednesday Home Games

When Leppings Lane (only) closes:
Services 18, 31, 97 & 98 TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Road, then turn right along Bradfield Rd to Hillsborough Corner.
Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will turn left onto Langsett Rd, left down Bamforth St, then left along Penistone Rd.

Additionally due to parked cars on Donovan Road, Service 98 will operate via the 97 route for the duration of a game

Bramall Lane Stadium -Sheffield United Home Games

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road Roundabout.
Services 11, 18 & MAN4 will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Mary's Road in both directions.
Service 252 will divert via Queens Road, Granville Square and St. Mary's Road in both directions.

TO GET THERE:
Shoreham Street: Services 1, 11, 24, 25 & 51.
Queens Road: Services 70/70a.

Note: If Shoreham Street is closed, then 1, 11, 18, 24, 41, 51, 252 & MAN4 services will all divert via Queens Road, Granville Square & St Mary's Road in both directions.

Services 27b, 28 and 32, although not diverted, these will be subject to delay along Pontefract Road near Oakwell Stadium.

Several roads in the vicinity of the Football Ground are also subject to Traffic Restriction Orders before and after each game.

New York Stadium -Rotherham United Home Games

When Main Street closes:

Services 73, 95 & X3 from Rotherham will re-divert via Bridge Street, Centenary Way & Ickles roundabout (73 & 95 services then Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road & Canklow Road). To Rotherham unaffected.

Services 137 and 138 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Road Roundabout, then Bridge Street.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Road & Centenary Way, then U turn back to Masbrough Street.

TO GET THERE:
Approx 5-10 min walk from Rotherham Interchange via Corporation Street and Main Street
Approx 5-10 walk from Rotherham Central, side of Canal, past Poolice station then onto Main Street

Hillsborough Stadium

Service 86 - This diversion will be in place 1 hour before kick off until 30 minutes after full time. It will be on normal route either side of this.

Towards Low Edges
The service will follow the route as normal to the bottom of Fox Hill Crescent. After that it will turn left up Fox Hill Road and then right onto Wilcox Road. It will carry on to the lights where it will turn right onto Halifax Road, back on normal route.

Towards Chapeltown
Instead of turning left onto Fox Hill Road, the service will follow Halifax Road to the traffic lights (junction with Wilcox Road). At that point it will turn left onto Wilcox Road. At the end of Wilcox Road the service will turn right onto Fox Hill Road and follow the normal 86 route to Low Edges until it reaches the bottom of Fox Hill Crescent. 
It will then turn left onto Fox Hill Road, then finally right onto Wilcox Road - back on normal line of route.

Services towards Tickhill operating normal route on Balby Carr Bank and Woodfield Way then diverting via  White Rose Way, Wilmington Drive, Lakeside Boulevard, Gliwice Way, Booth Avenue, Bawtry Road, Great Yorkshire Way, iPort Avenue and then normal route.

Services towards Doncaster are unaffected

Great Yorkshire Way to be closed in 1 direction (Towards iPort)

Services to divert round Lakeside, Bawtry Road and Great Yorkshire Way to resume normal route at the iPort roundabout.

Service 474

Services towards Barnby Dun to operate directly along Top Road, Left Church Road to Terminate opposite Spa. Turn around Via Kipling Road / Marlowe Road.

Services from Barnby Dun will need to Access Church Road the same as above via Top Road using Marlowe Road and Kipling Road to Turn around.

Service 115 to divert via the full length of Laudsdale Road.

A temporary stop has been requested to placed at the end of Laudsdale road just before the junction with Ridgeway.

Service 19 will divert from Woodsetts Road via Nursery Road in both directions, then resume normal route.

During this time, all stops on Lakeland Drive and Swintson Hill Road will not be in use. Alternative bus stops can be found on Nursery Road.

Towards Rotherham, services to operate via parkway roundabout and spin back up Handsworth road, picking up normal service at Handsworth top.
Towards Sheffield is unaffected.

Services 21, 21a, 25a and 26 will be diverted via Sheffield Road and Shrewsbury Road when streets are closed. Delays are to be expected.

Service 18a to divert via Prince of Wales Road, Beaumont Road North, Harborough Road, Harborough Avenue, Manor Lane, Manor Way, Woodbourn Road, Parkway Avenue, Parkway Drive, Sheffield Parkway and Prince of Wales Road.

Services 27, 27a and 27b which serve Darfield will be diverting along Barnsley Road and Upperwood Road in both directions.

Rowell Lane, Storrs Lane and Lee Moor Lane have been closed by Yorkshire Water for approximately 2 weeks.

The road is closed for public use but this doesn't apply to school service 760.

760 to run normal route

Service 56 towards Manor Park Centre to divert via Boundary Road, Southend Road (lower section), Manor Oaks Road, Maltravers Terrace, Maltravers Road, Manor Lane (lower section), Harborough Avenue & Manor Park Centre. Not serving Manor Park Crescent, though passengers should be allowed to ride through on the inbound service

Service 56 towards Nether Edge to divert via Manor Park Centre, Manor Park Crescent, Manor Lane (upper section), Manor Lane (lower section), Maltravers Road, Maltravers Terrace & Manor Oaks Road. Not serving Southend Road.

Service 272 will omit both Brough & Bradwell, waiting point time at the Travellers Rest in both directions.

Services 371,372 and 472
Services are to operate via Trafford Way, Cleveland Street right into St Sepulchre Gate West resuming route when turning left onto St James’s Bridge.

Unable to serve the bus stop behind the Health Centre

Services 372/373 will carry on past the entrance to the P and R, doing a U turn at the next roundabout.

Service 57, 57A at Blaxton Roundabout Turn Onto Station Rd and Turn At the Green (Duck Pond ) And back Onto Normal Route
