| Service Changes | On Sunday 23 August, a track defect was reported near Birley on the Blue route. After further investigation, a historical well or mineshaft was discovered below the tracks which means we are currently unable to operate trams between Gleadless Townend and Halfway. We anticipate tram services to be suspended for some time whilst we undertake further investigations and remedial works to ensure the tracks are safe.
