The previous Park and Ride facilities are available for Parkgate Shopping customers only, and subject to different terms and conditions.

To access Rotherham Parkgate Park and Ride, use the pedestrian exit and follow the path in front of Matalan. Access the tram stop via the path between Wren Kitchens and Boots. There is no access to the tram stop via the service yard behind the shops.

Car Parking
There are a total of 289 car parking spaces at Parkgate Park and Ride:
- Standard Spaces: 256

There are also 10 motorcycle parking spaces, located in the corner closest to the railway line, next to the shopping centre.

There are a total of 14 electric vehicle charging spaces, which includes 2 accessible spaces and 2 parent and child spaces. All spaces are located either side of the entrance to the car park. To use the chargers either download the Blink Android or iOS App, or scan the QR code on the chargepoint to pay using your smartphone.

Transport Connections
Tram Train services depart from Rotherham Parkgate tram stop (Platform A).
From the Park and Ride, use the pedestrian exit and follow the path in front of Matalan. Access the tram stop via the path between Wren Kitchens and Boots. There is no access to the tram stop via the service yard behind the shops.
This stop is at the end of the Tram Train route. Services depart here towards Rotherham Central, Meadowhall South, Arena/Olympic Legacy Park and Sheffield city centre.

It takes around 10 minutes (1.7 miles, 2.7 kilometres) to cycle to Rotherham town centre, and there are also nearby walking and cycling connections to local canals and rivers.
Access to the tram platform is step free. The distance from the park and ride to the tram platform is approximately 400 metres. There are a total of 13 accessible parking spaces, which are located on the side of the car park closest to Parkgate Shopping Centre. Two of these spaces have electric vehicle charging facilities.
