Drop in events for Supertram renewal works

Public engagement events: 7, 10 and 20 August 2026

What’s happening?

From Saturday 8 to Monday 31 August, we’ll be carrying out essential renewal works at the Delta junction, near Fitzalan Square.

During this time, tram services will be affected and replacement buses will operate on parts of the network.

If you have any questions about how the renewal works will affect your journey, we’d be happy to help.

We’ll be holding a series of drop-in information events where you can speak directly to members of the Supertram team.

Whether you’d like advice on planning your journey, using replacement buses, understanding the temporary timetable, or simply want to find out more about the works, we’ll be there to answer your questions.

There's no need to book, simply come along to any of the locations below at a time that suits you.

Drop-in event dates

Friday 7 August | 7am - 10am

Across the network, including the affected tram stops:

• Cathedral

• Castle Square

• Fitzalan Square

• Sheffield Station

Monday 10 August | 2pm - 5pm

• Meadowhall Interchange tram stop

Thursday 20 August | 2pm - 5pm

Sheffield Station tram stop (inside the station entrance/exit)
