Accessible travel
At Supertram, we’re committed to offering safe and accessible travel to all our customers. All our trams and tram stops offer step free access and dedicated space on board for wheelchair and scooter users to travel safely.
Assistance and tickets
All our trams and tram stops offer step free level access, so everyone can travel without the need to book assistance. Customers connecting on to National Rail services at Meadowhall Interchange and Rotherham Central may wish to check the National Rail enquiries website for more information.
Please note that as we offer step free level access on all services, station staff at Rotherham Central do not provide assistance to or from Supertram services
Supertram are not part of the National Rail network, therefore there are no railcard discounts available. Unless special arrangements are in place (for example due to engineering works), National Rail tickets are not valid on Supertram services and Supertram tickets are not valid on National Rail services.

All Supertram services have an onboard Conductor. If you have any questions or perhaps need extra time to alight the tram at your stop, please let our staff know.
Our Traveline team are also available 7-days a week from 8am to 7pm to provide support and information.
Plan your journey
You can plan your journey online using the Travel South Yorkshire journey planner. You can also use the journey planner on the TSY Mobile app. You can also call Travel South Yorkshire on 0800-952-0002.
You can find information and locations of all our stops on the “routes” section at supertram.com. All Supertram stops are unstaffed, other than at certain time during special events.
From time to time, tram and Tram Train services can be affected by planned disruption such as planned engineering works. You can find details of any planned services changes here disruptions and service updates.
When services are disrupted at short notice, for example due to an incident, our X (formerly Twitter) feed will include information about any changes to services Supertram on X or by calling 0800-9520002.
Our Scooter Policy provides detailed information on using a scooter on our services. To safely use a scooter on our network you’ll need a Scooter Permit, issued by one of the local bus operators. There are restrictions on the size and weight of scooters that can be carried.
All our trams offer priority seating, close to the doors, for customers who may have limited or reduced mobility. These are clearly marked, but if you need any help finding a suitable seat please let our staff know as they pass through the tram.
