Blue and Yellow route services

In the evening a revised tram service will operate. This is expected to be from 21:30 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, and 20:30 to 22:00 on Sunday.

During the above times:

  • Regular timetabled Blue and Yellow route services will terminate at Shalesmoor for Kelham Island. This is due to road closures in the Hillsborough area and to ensure safety of pedestrians.
  • Event special trams are expected to operate for customers leaving the festival. Signage inside Hillsborough Park will guide you towards the correct exit for Leppings Lane tram stop.
  • Trams will only allow boarding at Leppings Lane (towards the city). All other tram stops in the area will be closed (Middlewood, Leppings Lane [towards Middlewood], Hillsborough Park, Malin Bridge, Hillsborough Interchange).
  • To ensure safety, special event trams may also be unable to stop at Bamforth Street, Langsett/Primrose View and Infirmary Road.
