Supertram launches new Student fare

From Monday 7 September 2026, students can purchase a new Student Tram 7 Day ticket, available to buy onboard from a friendly Conductor or through the TSY Mobile app.

The new ticket gives students a convenient option for travelling by tram throughout the week and joins our existing range of student fares, including Single, Return and 28 Day tickets.

With the new fare launching in September, it’s perfect timing for students starting university or returning for the new academic year.

Using the TSY Mobile app?

If you’re new to the app, you’ll need to create a Student account to purchase the ticket.

If you already have a TSY Mobile account and need to change it to a Student account, please contact Traveline on 0800 952 0002.

Don’t forget your Zoom Pass

Young people aged 18-21 can register for a free Zoom Beyond 18-21 pass, which offers discounted travel across South Yorkshire.
