Get ready to go back to school this September
Our priority is to ensure that every pupil who relies on public transport will be able to get to school or college safely and on time come September.
Think > Check > Travel
We’re asking you to plan your journey in advance and think about the routes and ways you can travel, so that everyone has more space to stay safe.
Walk, scoot or cycle
If you can, try walking, scooting and cycling to school. If this is an option for you, you can find out more on our Travelling to school page.
Dedicated school services
School buses will be running to help pupils get to schools and colleges across South Yorkshire. All the information you need about school buses and traveling safely is on our dedicated school travel page
Public transport
We want you to be confident your child can travel safely by public transport. Services are available for most school or college journeys where pupils don't have alternative travel options.
Remember that public transport will continue to be different while social distancing measures are in place, so some journeys may take longer than normal and some routes may be busier.
