Supertram’s new advertising campaign
With planned rail works for 2025 now complete, Supertram is excited to let South Yorkshire know that their services are better, cleaner, and safer.
This autumn, we’re spreading the word with our new outdoor and radio campaign designed to remind commuters and shoppers that the tram is a smart, sustainable way to travel.

You’ll spot Supertram across South Yorkshire, from radio ads on Hits Radio South Yorkshire and social media ads, to high-visibility billboards along Sheffield Parkway and St Anne’s Roundabout in Rotherham, plus digital ad vans touring the region throughout November and December.

The adverts highlight the ease of travelling by tram, especially with the convenient Park and Ride sites that make switching from car to tram even simpler.

At the end of the previous rail works in September, Supertram reached out to residents in affected areas through leaflets in the post and by speaking to local communities at Crystal Peak Shopping Centre.
Upgrades have included onboard CCTV and body worn cameras on Conductors, both providing safer journeys. Rail upgrades ensure a smoother, quieter and more comfortable ride, along with less unplanned disruptions.
Jasmine Thompson, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Supertram, said:
“This campaign is a great opportunity to reconnect with people across South Yorkshire and remind them of the benefits of travelling by tram. With the recent renewal works now complete, it’s the perfect time to showcase a network that’s better, cleaner, and safer. We’re proud to be able to communicate this message directly to drivers and communities across the region, helping more people discover the convenience and sustainability of travelling with Supertram.”
