Due to vehicle issues, we are currently running a reduced service on the Sheffield Connect SC1 service to every 10 minutes. Service SC2 is operating as normal.
We will provide further updates to customers on SC1 service frequency through our Travel South Yorkshire website and social media channels.

From Monday 8th April getting around Sheffield city centre is quicker and easier thanks to the new Sheffield Connect bus service.
Sheffield Connect 1 & 2 provide free travel for everyone around the city centre to make it easy to get around, with stops located just a few minutes’ walk of the main active areas and existing trams and train links.
Do I need a ticket?
No. Sheffield Connect is free to ride to everyone.
Frequency
Sheffield Connect 1 run every 7-8 minutes, 7-days a week.
Sheffield Connect 2 runs every 20 minutes, 7-days a week.

Four 100% electric vehicles operate the Sheffield Connect service, as part of South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority’s vision for a greener public transport network. In total, 27 zero-emission buses will be rolled out across South Yorkshire to help improve air quality across the region.
Sheffield Connect is delivered in partnership with South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and Sheffield City Council, as part of the Connecting Sheffield City Centre programme and wider Heart of the City development.
