Supporting causes that matter most
Tramendous Together is Supertram’s social value initiative as part of our corporate social responsibility. It was created to support the charitable causes that mean the most to our colleagues and our community.
We’re proud to share our success by donating to colleague-nominated charities and helping our teams with fundraising for truly worthy causes. Whether it’s running a marathon, hosting a bake sale, or taking on a once-in-a-lifetime challenge, we’re here to back our people every step of the way.
How it works
Through Tramendous Together, colleagues can nominate charities or community projects they’re involved with, from fundraising challenges and awareness campaigns to local volunteering efforts.

Sheffield Hospitals Charity Fundraiser
Our teams came together to fundraise for the Jessop Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a cause close to the hearts of several of our colleagues. We were proud to match their efforts with company donations, showing our collective commitment to giving back to local healthcare heroes.
Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Glow in the Park
Our colleagues lit up the night at Glow in the Park 2024, raising funds for The Children’s Hospital Charity. Together, Supertram proudly achieved the Highest Fundraiser Award and earned a spot on the hospital’s Wall of Snowflakes for 2025, a reflection of our shared passion for supporting children and families across Sheffield.
Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Matthew Orange
In 2024, our teams raised £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of our much-loved colleague, Matthew Orange, who worked with us for nearly 30 years. It was an honour to support this meaningful cause and stand alongside his family and friends in celebrating his life and legacy.

Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity, Sheffield 10K
Our colleagues took on the Sheffield 10K in 2025 with one member of the team running proudly in support of The Children’s Hospital Charity. We were delighted to contribute donations for their fundraising efforts, helping to provide vital care and support for children and families in our region.
Macmillan Cancer Support, Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our teams once again came together for the Macmillan Coffee Morning 2025, baking, brewing, and fundraising to help make a difference for people living with cancer. We were proud to boost their efforts with an additional company donation to this much-loved national campaign.
The Sick Children's Trust, Skydive
One of our colleagues bravely took to the skies for a sponsored skydive, raising funds for The Sick Children’s Trust, a charity that supported his family during a difficult time. We were honoured to support his incredible effort through the Tramendous Together programme.
Anthony Nolan, Three Peaks Challenge
A group of our amazing colleagues conquered the National Three Peaks Challenge with one member of the team raising money for Anthony Nolan, a charity that saves lives through stem cell transplants. We were proud to contribute to their fundraising total and cheer them on every step of the way.
Weston Park Cancer Charity, Onboard Choir
In 2024, the Glee Bah Gum Choir brought festive cheer to our trams by singing Christmas carols onboard to raise funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity. We were proud to support this joyful initiative, which combined music, community spirit, and generosity to make a real difference.
