Purple route: Suspended

The Purple route is currently temporarily suspended.

We're really sorry, but due to the unforeseen incident in the Birley Lane area, the Purple route has been suspended. We are working hard to resolve as soon as possible.

Due to the incident the Blue tram will be running service every 15 minutes from Gleadless Townend to Herdings Park.

You can use your tram ticket to travel on First Bus services. Information about the nearest bus stops and routes is available on this page.
