Our Supertram Presentation team has been busy delivering a series of upgrades at Castle Square tram stop, all while services continued to run as normal. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to making the network safer, cleaner, and more welcoming for everyone who travels with us.

What's new :

1. Improved Signage

New, clearer signage has been installed to help customers navigate the stop more easily. Displays now show the platform (A or B), making it quicker and simpler to find the right tram.

5. New shelter glass panels (coming soon)

Existing shelter glass panels will soon be replaced with durable glazing, improving both the appearance and comfort of the sheltered areas. These works will be completed over the coming weeks.

A better experience for everyone

All of these improvements have been carefully planned and delivered alongside live tram services, minimising disruption while making a visible difference to the stop.

Castle Square is one of the busiest locations on the network, and these upgrades help ensure it remains a safe, accessible and pleasant place to travel from.

Looking ahead

These works form part of a wider programme of improvements across the Supertram network, led by our Presentation team, focused on keeping stops and services in great condition for customers and communities alike.
