Have your say on plans for a brand new Supertram fleet

We’re inviting people across South Yorkshire to help shape plans for a brand new Supertram fleet as part of the South Yorkshire People’s Network.

You can have your say on everything from accessibility and comfort to onboard technology, safety and passenger information from Monday 10 August to Friday 18 September 2026 by completing the South Yorkshire tram fleet questionnaire.

Paper copies are available at the Customer Service Desk at Sheffield Interchange, Meadowhall Interchange and Sheffield Railway Station, or by calling Traveline on 0800 952 0002.

The new fleet will play a central role in the People’s Network, with a vision for a fully integrated public transport system that better connects communities, supports economic growth and makes it easier for people to get around South Yorkshire. With the current Supertram vehicles approaching the end of their operational life after more than 30 years of service, you now have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help shape the trams that will serve the region for decades to come.
