Free bike servicing

Due to the ongoing pandemic, free bike health checks funded by local councils are currently either on hold or have changed slightly. See below for more information:  

Barnsley Active Travel Hub

The Barnsley Active Travel Hub, located at Barnsley Interchange, is your one stop shop for fixing and maintaining your bike. Pop down to the Hub where a qualified mechanic can carry out a free check of your bike, to identify what work needs carrying out.

Fix it yourself 

For safe and confident cycling it’s important to trust your bike is reliable and ready to go out on the roads and feel confident that you can fix minor issues (e.g. a puncture) in the event of it happening whilst cycling.

Free public cycle pumps 

Sheffield City Council offer free cycling pumps around the city, take a look at the pump locations and you never know, you may find one on your usual route!
