There will be changes to Supertram services on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January 2026. Network Rail need to complete essential bridge repairs near Meadowhall South, which will affect Yellow route and Tram Train services.
Replacement bus service TT1 and YE1 will operate between Sheffield city centre and Meadowhall Interchange, with service TT1 also serving Rotherham Central and Parkgate.

Network Rail will be repairing cladding underneath the Sheffield Road bridge, which crosses both the railway and our tracks, between Meadowhall South (Tinsley) and Carbrook for IKEA tram stops. These works are essential to ensure safety of tram and rail services which pass underneath.
This means that trams won't operate between Arena (Olympic Legacy Park) and Meadowhall Interchange or Parkgate, to enable these works to be completed as safely and quickly as possible.
