Public transport consultations this autumn

We’re asking for your views on several public transport focused consultations this autumn to help us in our decision making when we’re considering changes and improvements to the public transport network.

  • Bus fleet survey – we’re bringing buses back under public control. We want to hear from you about how we can design better buses that are accessible for everyone - the survey is now open and closes on Monday 15 December 2025
  • Bus lane review scheme consultation (Sheffield/Rotherham) - we’re asking for your views on our highway project proposals designed to help improve bus reliability and reduce journey times for bus users, making it easier for people to travel for work and leisure. – the consultation will open in the new year.
  • Customer Principles survey – we’re asking for your feedback on our proposed Customer Principles for transport. Your views are essential to determine how we deliver a positive customer experience for an integrated transport network across the region – the survey opens on Monday 10 November and closes on Monday 24 November.
  • Annual Transport Survey - Further information will be made available later this year
