If you are 18 or under you can benefit from cheaper travel in South Yorkshire throughout the summer by applying for a Zoom Travel Pass.
Zoom Under 16 and 16-18 concessionary travel passes provide proof of eligibility to travel for a discounted single journey fare on bus and tram, and half fare on Northern trains in South Yorkshire.
Zoom pass holders can also buy discounted daily, weekly and 28-day tickets from bus and tram operators, including prepaid tickets offering unlimited travel across South Yorkshire.
If you are under 18 and live in Barnsley you can travel for free anywhere in South Yorkshire from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week with a Barnsley MiCard Travel Pass. As long as the journey starts or finishes in Barnsley.
Aged 18-21? Why not apply for a Zoom Beyond 18-21 Travel Pass and use it as proof of eligibility to save money on your fares across South Yorkshire, including a £2.10 single fare or £4.10 return on Supertram, and a 15% discount on a range of TravelMaster tickets.
So, if you are, or you know someone in these age bracket who uses public transport, please encourage them to apply for a travel pass as early as possible and start enjoying cheaper travel ahead of the start of the academic year in September.
