Swinton Park & Ride car park closure

Swinton station car park will be partially closed on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May and on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May to allow Network Rail to facilitate engineering works between Sheffield and Bolton-upon-Dearne/Wakefield Westgate. 

How will this impact you?

The station entrance and pedestrian entrance/exit routes will be maintained over the two weekends and parking spaces and bus turn around will be available throughout the works at the front of the station. The rest of the car park shown within the purple and green boundaries on the map below) will be closed to the public.

Bus and Train services 

Train services between Sheffield and Doncaster/Adwick will not call at Swinton station, but a rail replacement bus service will operate during the full closure periods and will follow the normal bus service turn around route. Service 72 will continue to service Swinton station
