Traveline New Opening Hours


As part of a pilot scheme to improve customer service Traveline opening hours will be changing from Monday 8 January.

What is changing?

From Monday 8 January, the Traveline service will be open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. The changes will affect customers making calls to Traveline 01709 515151 and tweeting the @TSYalerts Twitter account.

Why are the opening hours changing?

The trial is being introduced to improve customer service by:

• reducing call wait times 
• increasing the number of staff available to handle customer queries
• allowing more enquiries to be answered during peak times

How long will the pilot run?

The pilot will run for 3 months, and be reviewed at the end to see if it was successful. A decision will then be made whether to implement the changes to opening hours permanently.
