Park and Ride and Station Car Parks

Why Park & Ride?

Park & Ride is the best of both worlds:

  • allowing those who need to use a car the chance to leave it at an interchange location and link to public transport
  • avoiding the stresses and strains of fighting urban traffic congestion
  • helping to sustain the environment by using public transport and reducing carbon emissions.

Parking at a Park & Ride site:

  • is cost-effective - comparing favourably with the cost of parking within towns and city centres
  • has direct links with bus, train and tram facilities.

Where is your nearest Park & Ride or station car park?

Please note - whilst most Park & Ride sites and station car parks are open 24 hours. Waiting facilties and customer advisors will not be available, normal office hours apply.
