If you’re unemployed or on a low income, you could be entitled to a weekly off-peak pass at a discounted rate.
Off-Peak TravelMaster costs £13.50 a week. It allows you to travel by bus, train or tram throughout South Yorkshire after 0900 on weekdays and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
To buy your Off-Peak TravelMaster, just come down to any Travel South Yorkshire information centre and bring:
- proof of your address
- proof of your qualifying benefit
- a passport size photograph.
We may ask you to get a form signed by your benefit office if your proof is not up to date.
You may qualify for an Off-Peak TravelMaster if you are:
- unemployed and available for work
- receiving Incapacity Benefit
- receiving Severe Disability Allowance
- receiving Working Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit and you qualify for free prescriptions and other NHS services because of your low income
- receiving Income Support
- your spouse claims Incapacity Benefit or Severe Disability Allowance on your behalf.
