Park & Ride is the best of both worlds:
- allowing those who need to use a car the chance to leave it at an interchange location and link to public transport
- avoiding the stresses and strains of fighting urban traffic congestion
- helping to sustain the environment by using public transport and reducing carbon emissions.
Parking at a Park & Ride site:
- is cost-effective - comparing favourably with the cost of parking within towns and city centres
- has direct links with bus, train and tram facilities.
