    Using Supertram

    Travel South Yorkshire is proud of a service that provides accessible transport for all.

    If you sometimes have difficulties with public transport, Sheffield trams may be the perfect solution for you as they will all have:

    • ramped platform approaches and tactile paving to locate tram doors
    • level boarding and alighting
    • two priority wheelchair spaces on each tram
    • priority seating for elderly and disabled passengers
    • audio and visual next stop information on board
    • a conductor on board.

    Wheelchair users

    If you are a wheelchair user, all Supertram services have:

    • level, easy access to tram stops
    • doors that stop level with the tactile markings on every platform
    • straightforward access into two wheelchair spaces when boarding or leaving the tram
    • wheelchair spaces next to every tram entrance door.

    Mobility scooter users

    There are currently no restrictions to taking mobility scooters onto the Supertram network.


    Reaching the supertram network

    Supertram link bus service

    Travel South Yorkshire also provides further transport to the Supertram service from Malin Bridge and Middlewood Park & Ride in case you live a good distance from the nearest tram stops. Take a look at the Supertram Link service (www.supertram.com) for more information.

    Alternatively, you can always travel by car to a Supertram Park & Ride site, and link with the tram at the site.
