Question of the month

Each month we will be putting a new question to you all, totally anonymous and simple to answer why not give us your feedback and tell us what you really think?

July's question of the month is about BRT North.

Bus Rapid Transit (North) is an innovative public transport concept combining high quality buses with improved infrastructure (bus stops, junction layouts) to give the passenger an enhanced travel experience between Rotherham and Sheffield.  BRT North is designed to improve travel between Rotherham via Westgate, Templeborough, Meadowhall and Attercliffe to Sheffield.

It aims to encourage regeneration by providing better access to future developments such as those proposed close to the M1 on Grange Lane. The proposals also include a new link under the M1 connecting Meadowhall Way with Sheffield Road, allowing traffic travelling between Rotherham and Sheffield to avoid the busy M1 junctions.

A short film is available to view and we would encourage you to view this consultation material prior to answering the question.

Come back next month for a brand new question.
