The South Yorkshire Local Transport Plan (SYLTP) Partnership is made up of the four Local Authorities (LAs) in South Yorkshire (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield) and the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE).
The objectives of the South Yorkshire LTP are to support economic growth by developing and maintaining an integrated transport system and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people of South Yorkshire.
The South Yorkshire LTP is also responsible for co-ordinating and implementing the strategies of the South Yorkshire 2nd local transport plan (LTP2).
