Which buses can you catch?
Using your Optio Orange Day or Week ticket, you can catch any participating operators' bus. Whether you want to travel from Halfway to Crystal Peaks, Sheffield City Centre, Hallamshire Hospital, Fulwood and back again, you can use your Optio Orange Day or Week ticket on any of these Optio Orange services:
- First 42, 44, 49
- Stagecoach 50/50A, 53 and 123
- First and Stagecoach 120
- TM Travel 49*, 123
* Evenings, Sundays and some early morning services.
Optio Orange tickets are only valid within the Sheffield City Council area.
What tickets are available?
To take advantage of Optio Orange, you just need to ask for an Optio Orange Day Ticket or Optio Orange Week Ticket from the bus driver when you board.
Optio Orange Day tickets cost £3.20 and Optio Orange Week tickets cost £10.00.
Once you've bought your Optio Orange ticket, you can relax knowing you're free to catch any Optio Orange bus along the Optio Orange routes.
If you are making a one-way journey within the Optio Orange network that requires two buses, there is an Optio Orange Switcha ticket available for £1.40.
Other single, day and week tickets are also available.
From 30 October 2011 First and Stagecoach bus-only Sheffield day and week tickets are accepted on either operators' Optio Orange services.*
* Optio Orange tickets are only valid within the Sheffield City Council area only.
Optio Orange tickets can only be used on Optio Orange services.
