If snow or ice affect travel in South Yorkshire, we'll do our best to keep you up to date with the latest travel information through the following channels:

• Check our disruptions page to see which services are affected in your area. 

• Follow the friendly team @TSYalerts  who'll be putting live travel updates out through Twitter between 7am and 8pm weekdays, and from 8am until 8pm at weekends.

• Check live departures to see when your service will arrive at your stop before you leave the house, and avoid an unnecessary wait in the cold.

Take extra care when your travelling in Winter conditions and plan your journey in advance.
