The carbon calculator will tell you how much carbon dioxide (CO2) is likely to be released into the atmosphere for any given car journey.

To use the calculator, simply choose one of the options below, enter the number of miles for your journey and select the calculate button.
Select the make, model and engine of your car (if it is not listed, then please use the ‘Car Type Selector’ or if you know the CO2 emissions for your vehicle use the ‘CO2 Selector’ option).
Note - 'M5' is a manual 5 speed gear box (M6 = 6 speed manual ect.), 'A4' is a automatic 4 speed gear box (A5 = 5 speed automatic ect.) and CVT is constant variable transmission.
