Lost Pass Procedure

Zero Fare PassListed below are the procedures that you will need to follow to replace lost passes.

MegaTravel Pass

Visit a Travel South Yorkshire information centre with the following:

  • proof of identity - name and address (eg official letter addressed to applicant, medical card, etc)
  • a recent colour passport size photograph
  • £5.

The child must be present when this pass is being issued.

Alternatively you may be able to request a replacement pass through your secondary school sffice.

Zero Fare Pass

To apply for a replacement pass through the post send the following items to this address:

  • A note stating the childs name, address and school attending.
  • A £5 cheque or postal order made payable to SYPTE.
  • You may also order a replacement pass by paying the £5 charge at any of the main Information Centres (not mini-interchanges). The duplicate pass will be posted to your home address.

English National Concession pass

A replacement pass will cost £5 unless you have taken out pass protection.  Call into a Travel South Yorkshire information centre bringing the following:

  • proof of identity - name and address (eg official letter addressed to applicant, medical card, utility bill, etc)
  • £5.

Pass protection can be taken out against Senior Citizen Passes for £2.50 for five years.  This will enable you to replace your old pass free of charge should you lose it during the five years which it is valid.

Please note

Passes will be replaced free of charge if they have been stolen provided that the incident has been reported to the police and a crime reference number obtained**
