Plan Your Journey to Junior School

Mark gets you going around South Yorkshire….

……using the Journey Planner to get you there.

First of all, print off these instructions before planning your journey:

• type in where you are going from and where you are going to, like home address to school.  You also have to put in the date and time you want to travel
• you can say which type of transport you want to use – bus, train or tram – but only if they go there!  Remember – trams only run in Sheffield
• next find journey – you’ll be asked to confirm the from and to points again
• after that, hit the plan journey button
• there, you’ll be given a list of journeys to choose from.  Before picking, you can look at each of them to decide the way you want to go – just view journey
• you can also follow your journey on a map – by pressing the map button
• at the bottom of the screen there’s a list of options.  Use this if you want to make any changes.

Mark’s helpful hints

• Reverse – this shows you the journey back to where you started from.
• Reset – hitting this button clears the page and lets you start all over again.
• Timetables – this is if you want to check times of certain bus services.

Mark says…..always remember to carry your MegaTravel Card with you when you leave home.  It saves you money - and hassle!
