Our role
At Travel South Yorkshire we offer the services of our Education and Safety Travel Advisors who work with secondary and junior schools within South Yorkshire. They concentrate on educating and encouraging students how to use public transport safely. Further information on the role of Travel Advisors.
Secondary schools
Secondary schools can register online to receive the free 'On the Move' Teachers' PSE resource pack.
Each pack contains:
- "Ridin Safe and Smart" DVD
- teachers' support materials.
Please complete the registration below and your resource pack will be delivered by your school Travel Advisor shortly.

Junior schools
The Get Going with Mark teaching pack is free to all South Yorkshire junior schools. It has been developed to educate and promote public transport to junior school pupils as they experience the transition from junior to secondary school.
Each pack contains:
- Get Going with Mark pupil booklet and certificate
- stickers and postcards for pupils
- five classroom posters and teachers' notes
and you will have the opportunity to gain the Junior School Travel Award.
Please complete the registration below and your resource pack will be delivered by your school Travel Advisor later this academic year.
