Blue Route will run between Malin Bridge and University of Sheffield (omitting Netherthorpe Road tram stop) every 20 minutes during the day.

Yellow Route tram services will run between Middlewood and University of Sheffield (omitting Netherthorpe Road tram stop) every 20 minutes during the day 

Purple Route tram services will run between Herdings Park and Cricket Inn Road every 60 minutes

Green Route temporary tram services will run between Halfway and Meadowhall (serving stops on the Blue Route between Halfway and Sheffield Station and the Yellow Route between Hyde Park and Meadowhall Interchange) – every 12 minutes during the day

Tram Train services will run between Rotherham Parkgate and Sheffield Station, operating to the normal frequency of two services per hour

A replacement bus service, TR1, will be in operation serving bus stops close to city centre tram stops

Towards Doncaster, service 305 to operate as normal to Stripe Road at the junction with Bond Street then divert via Stripe Road, Clay Flat Lane and Gattison Lane before resuming normal route at the junction with Radburn Road.

Towards Tickhill, service to operate as normal to Gattison Lane at the junction with Radburn Road then divert via Gattison Lane, Clay Flat Lane and Stripe Road before resuming normal route at the junction with Bond Street.

Services 52 and 52a going towards Hillsborough will run between University Square roundabout and Walkley Lane along Bolsover Street, Winter Street, Crookes Valley Road, Barber Road, Commonside, Howard Road and South Road.

Services 52 and 52a going towards City Centre and Woodhouse will run between Walkley Lane and West Street along South Road, Howard Road, Commonside, Barber Road, Crookes Valley Road, Winter Street, Bolsover Street, University Roundabout, Brook Hill and Mappin Street.

Please use alternative bus stops along the diversion route. Service 51 will run along Brook Hill, Western Bank and Whitham Road, serving Broomhill, as normal.

From 2000 until end of service every Friday & Saturday (and Sunday evenings on Bank Holiday Mondays) until further notice.
INBOUND - Services 51,52 and 52a will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, Moore Street, Charter Road, Furnival Street then turn at Furnival Square roundabout.
INBOUND Services 95 & 95a will operate as normal to Brook Hill roundabout then divert via Upper Hanover Street, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street and Furnival Square before resuming normal route on Furnival Street.
INBOUND Service 120 service will operate as normal to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital then divert up Clarkson Street down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Marys Gate, St Marys Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.

Temporary road closure of Fitzwilliam Street and Hill street from Cobcar St to Armroyd Lane for carriageway work. From 13th May to 24th May 2024 - 8am to 5pm weekdays only.
During this time services will be diverted as follows:
Service 66 - Cobcar Lane, Cobcar Street, Hill Street.
Service 662 - towards St Pius X: Depart from King Street at the junction with Millhouses Street.
Service 662 - towards Elsecar: Terminate on King Street opposite the junction with Millhouses Street.

When Main St closes:
Services 137 and 138 towards Rotherham will turn left on Centenary Way, College Rd roundabout then Bridge Str.
FROM Rotherham will divert via Chantry Bridge, Greasbrough Rd & Centenary Way then U turn back to Masbrough St

Approx 5-10 min walk from Interchange/Rotherham Central

Hillsborough Stadium - Sheffield Wednesday Homes Games

When Leppings La (only) closes:
Services 18, 97 & 98 TOWARDS Hillsborough Interchange will divert along Penistone Rd then turn right along Bradfield Rd to Hillsborough Corner.
Services FROM Hillsborough Interchange will turn left onto Langsett Rd, left down Bamforth St then left along Penistone Rd.

Additionally due to parked cars on Donovan Road, Service 98 will operate via the 97 route for the duration of a game

TO GET THERE:
Leppings La: Tram Yellow Route to Middlewood, Ser 57.
Penistone Rd: Services 7, 8, 8A & 86 in both directions.

Bramall Lane Stadium -Sheffield United Homes Games

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.
Services 11, 18 & MAN4 will divert via Queens Road, Charlotte Road, Shoreham Street & St Marys in both directions.
Service 252 will divert via Queens Road, Granville Square and St. Mary's in both directions 

TO GET THERE:
Shoreham St: 11,24,25 & 51

Note: If Shoreham Street is closed, then 1a, 11, 18, 24, 41, 51, 252 & MAN4 services will all divert via Queens Road, Granville Square & St Marys in both directions.

Services 27b, 28 and 32, although not diverted, these will be subject to delay along Pontefract Road near Oakwell Stadium.

Several roads in the vicinity of the Football Ground are also subject to Traffic Restriction Orders before and after each game.

Service 86 diverting via Fox Hill Road in both directions omitting Fox Hill Crescent in its entirety.

Service 138 will divert between Kimberworth Park Road/Bents Road turning circle and High Street divert via Kimberworth Park Road, Oaks Lane, Upper Wortley Road, Fellowsfield Way,  High Street in both directions

Service 136 will divert from Upper Wortley Road via Fellowsfield Way to resume route on  High Street in both directions

Service 52a INBOUND services diverted via Beaver Hill Road & Retford Road, omitting Ballifield Drive.

Services 26, 26a, 30a and X30 will run along Eckington Road and Owlthorpe Greenway instead of going along Hartland Avenue.

Service 120k will run directly along Owlthorpe Greenway instead of going along Eckington Road and Hartland Avenue.

Due to resurfacing works, the below roads from 19 May 2024 to 24 May 2024 will be closed, between 2000 and 0500:

• High Street between Heritage Court and Dodworth Green Road.
• Station Road between Baslow Crescent and Dodworth Green Road
• Dodworth Green Road between Baslow Crescent and High Street
• Barnsley Road between Cliffe Crescent and High Street

Temporary road closure of Hollinberry Lane from Westwood New Road to Berry Lane for carriageway work. First closure on 12th May 2024 and then a further date yet to be confirmed in the next 2 weeks.
Services will be diverted as follows:
Services 29 will divert via Westwood New Road and Sheffield Road (and vice versa)

Service 73 to miss out the Howarth Road section of the route

Temporary road closure of Keresforth Hill Road from Broadway to Dark Lane for carriageway resurfacing. Night closures from 12th May to 17th May 2024 on weekdays and Sundays. (Times to be confirmed)
During this time services will be diverted as follows:

Service 24a - Keresforth Rd, High Street, Barnsley Rd, Dodworth Rd and Broadway in both directions

Towards Doncaster, services 87 and 87a are operating as normal to Marshland Road at the junction with Coulman Street then diverting via Coulman Street and Church Balk before resuming normal route on Haynes Road.

Towards Moorends, services 87 and 87a are operating as normal to Haynes Road at the junction with Church Balk then diverting via Church Balk and Coulman Street before resuming normal route on Marshland Road.

Service X54 and school services 637 638 639 all to use A57, Goosecarr Lane and Kiveton Lane in both directions passengers advised to use stops further along the route

There will be a temporary no right turn restriction from Old Mill Lane on to Old Tannery Road, allowing traffic to travel in a northbound direction onto Wakefield Road only, the restriction will be in place on an intermittent basis, as and when required for a 5-month period starting on 19th February 2024.

Services 30a towards Plumbley, 51towards Charnock, 52/52a towards Woodhouse, 95/95a towards Meadowhall, 120/120k towards Crystal Peaks, Halfway or Norwood and 257c towards Sheffield Interchange will run along Upper Hanover Street, Hanover Way, Moore Street roundabout, St Mary’s Gate, South Lane, Cumberland Street, Eyre Street and Furnival Square.

SheffieldConnect1 towards Moorfoot will run directly between Castle Square and Charter Row along Arundel Gate, Furnival Square, Furnival Gate and Charter Square.

Buses will not be able to serve bus stops on Durham Road, West Street, Brook Hill, Mappin Street or Rockingham Street.

Towards Worksop, service 22 to operate as normal to Balby Road at the junction with Sandford Road then divert via High Road, Hall Flat Lane, Cross Street and Tickhill Road before resuming normal route on Weston Road.

Towards Doncaster, service 22 will be unaffected and should operate as normal.

For journeys towards Worksop, please use bus stops on the diversion route.

Rotherham bound traffic via A6178 Old Sheffield Road, Canklow Road, Alma Road, Moorgate Street, and Ship Hill.

Service 73 Will divert Inbound via Alma Road, Moorgate Street, Ship Hill Corporation Street.
Outbound Service 73 will divert via Sheffield Road, Old Sheffield Road, before turning right on to Canklow Road towards Canklow.

services X1,X10 will divert Inbound from Sheffield Road via Old Sheffield Road, Alma Road, Moorgate Street, Ship Hill before resuming route on Corporation Street towards the interchange
Outbound services X1,X10 will still run normal route through Westgate and Sheffield Road however stops within the area of works will be suspended and passengers are advised to catch the bus at alternative stops along the route

Services 87 and 87a will divert Via Littlewood Road and Coulman Street in both directions until further notice

Stagecoach services will be  diverting via Harding Avenue to Wentworth Road, Stubbin Road, Haugh Road.                     
 South Pennine  107 will divert via via Stubbin Road Wentworth Road

Services will divert via Abbeydale Road, Archer Road, Hutcliffe Wood Road and Abbey Lane.
